Lead Creatively
Read
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Think
Albert Einstein said, “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
God has intricately designed each of us, infusing us with a unique blend of creativity that flourishes when we stand in his presence, the ultimate Creator. He has hardwired us to be creative beings, capable of bringing beauty and wonder into existence from seemingly nothing.
Think about it: we're wired to write, to draw, to build, to sing, to dance – all in pursuit of something greater than ourselves. We're designed to use our God-given talents not just for personal gain, but for a higher purpose – to glorify Jesus and draw others closer to him. We can't afford to downplay or sideline our creativity and influence, as if they're just optional extras in our journey of faith. No, we're called to step up and lead in the realm of arts and entertainment, showcasing Jesus' love and truth through our creative expressions.
Remember how God put Adam in the garden to work it and take care of it? Well, that's a blueprint for us, too. We're called to cultivate and steward the creative gifts and opportunities God has blessed us with. It's not about creating something entirely new but about building upon the foundation of God's words and actions, using our creativity to magnify his glory and lead others to him.
Let's embrace our creativity wholeheartedly, knowing that it's a powerful tool given to us by the Creator of the universe. Let's honor Jesus with every stroke of the brush, every word penned, every note sung, and every step danced. It's time to unleash our creativity for his purpose and his glory.
