Think
Are you intrigued by the daily routines and habits of successful individuals such as Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson, Elon Musk, and of course, Jesus? Ever wondered why they prioritize waking up early and investing time in reading? The common thread among them is the commitment to strengthening their minds.
If, like me, you constantly strive for improvement and growth, the good news is that the Bible affirms our ability to renew our minds and become more Christlike. Drawing inspiration from Jesus, we observe his commitment to a daily God-given mission. He, too, had a purpose, like each of us, but his consistent discipline was aligning with the will of the Father.
Discovering God's will for your life begins with engaging with his Word. By reading the Bible, speaking with him through prayer, and cultivating moments of stillness, you open yourself to God’s guidance. During your prayers, God deposits nuggets of truth into your mind, reinforcing his plans and purposes for you. Through this process, he instills courage in your soul, affirming that you were created for a specific reason.
As you immerse yourself in his Word, actively listening for his voice and engaging in a dialogue with him, your faith is built. God uses these moments to remind you of your purpose, reinforcing that you are uniquely designed for the journey ahead. So, in your pursuit of growth and improvement, let the daily discipline of seeking God's will and renewing your mind lead you to a transformative journey of faith.
Apply
Establish a consistent routine for Bible reading. Choose a specific time and place, minimizing distractions, and begin applying those principles. Speak to God about your desires and concerns. Allow moments of quiet to sense his presence.
Pray
Heavenly father, as I embark on a journey to renew my mind and become more like you, I am grateful for the gift of your Word. Give me the discipline to daily immerse myself in your Word. Teach me to communicate with you openly and honestly, laying before you my desires, fears, and uncertainties. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
