2 Corinthians 7:10 and Philippians 3:13-14 remind us that while regret may surface as we reflect on the past year, godly sorrow leads to growth and redemption. As we enter the new year, we are called to release past mistakes, embrace joy, and press forward with hope, trusting God to redeem our regrets and shape our future.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 reminds us that Advent extends beyond Christmas, calling us to live with hope for Christ’s return. As the holiday glow fades, we are encouraged to keep our hearts focused on the eternal promise that Jesus is preparing something greater, and each ordinary day draws us closer to His coming.

Psalm 74:17 and Psalm 139:23-24 remind us that winter seasons of life, though quiet and still, are times when God uncovers hidden burdens and prepares our hearts for growth. Just as farmers remove rocks to ready their fields, we must allow God to clear away what hinders us, trusting that this inner work will lead to renewal and fruitfulness.

Luke 2:22 shows us that after the wonder of Christmas, Mary and Joseph quietly dedicated Jesus to God, modeling trust and obedience in ordinary moments. As the celebrations fade, we too are called to surrender our plans and daily lives to Him, allowing His presence to shape our journey ahead.

John 3:16 reminds us that God's love came to us in the form of Jesus, offering warmth, hope, and salvation to a world in need. Just like the boy in the story, we find that God’s love fills the empty, cleanses the broken, and gives us a place to belong, reminding us that Christmas is the ultimate expression of His love.

Luke 1:50-55 reminds us that God uplifts the humble and fills the empty, offering hope to the unseen and weary. Mary's song of faith in the face of uncertainty challenges us to trust God's promises, knowing He transforms our burdens into stories of His mercy and love.
