The World's Bible
Read
Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.”
2 Peter 2:5 “If he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others…”
Think
Oliver Goldsmith astutely remarked, "You can preach a better sermon with your life than with your lips." In the New Testament, Noah is referred to as "a preacher of righteousness" (2 Peter 2:5), even though the Bible does not provide a record of his spoken sermons. It is quite possible that Noah's most powerful testimony was his obedience to God in constructing the ark. His unwavering faith to build such a vessel in anticipation of rain, even when rain had never fallen before, may have been what earned him the title of "preacher of righteousness." Genesis 6:8-9 further attests that Noah walked with God daily.
Perhaps God is calling you to follow a similar path, making your life your platform. Your stage is found in your daily walk with him, allowing others to witness his presence through you. God is urging you to spend time in his company, and in doing so, his influence will naturally radiate from your life.
