Psalm 9:10 “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.”

Have you ever felt let down by people, plans, or even yourself? Trust can be a scary thing when you’ve been hurt before. But Psalm 9:10 reminds us of a powerful truth: God is trustworthy. He has never forsaken those who seek him. Not once. And he’s not going to start with you.
Trust begins with knowing God, not just intellectually, but personally. To know him is to know that he is faithful, loving, constant. It’s in the moments when life feels unsteady that his trustworthiness becomes most clear. Think about it: when has he ever failed you? Maybe you can’t see it in the middle of the storm, but look back. How many times has he carried you when you thought you couldn’t take another step?
A.W. Pink once wrote, “God is faithful, not because he feels obligated, but because faithfulness is who he is.” That faithfulness is woven into every part of who God is. He doesn’t just keep promises; he is the Promise-Keeper. And unlike people who may walk away or falter, God will never leave you. Even when you feel unworthy, his faithfulness doesn’t change.
What are you struggling to trust him with right now? Your future? A relationship? A burden that feels too heavy? God is inviting you to bring it to him. He doesn’t promise an easy life, but he promises his unwavering presence. He won’t abandon you. He won’t let go.
Take a deep breath and let this truth sink in: God is trustworthy. He has never failed, and he never will. Seek him, even in your doubts, and let his faithfulness become the anchor that steadies your heart. You can trust him—completely, always, and forever.

Lord, thank you for being faithful and trustworthy in every season of my life. Help me to trust you with the things I don’t understand and the burdens I’m carrying.
